Co-ordination of a draft masterplan for expansion of the Airport’s passenger terminal and cargo capacity and permission obtained for new Airport hotel and multi-storey car park to facilitate ongoing Airport growth.

- Review and advice on representations to Regional Spatial Strategy and emerging Local Development Framework
- Preparation of Planning Statement to accompany planning application for first phase of Masterplan development
- Secure enabling works through permitted development submissions
Results:
- Draft Masterplan published with significant stakeholder support
- Permission for 155 bed hotel at Airport terminal
- Permission for multi-storey car parking to meet pressing passenger and staff needs
- Implementation of works necessary to support ongoing growth of passenger services and cargo business
