Redevelopment of industrial land and premises to provide a 20ha (50a) employment park of over 46,000 sq m (495,140 sq ft), incorporating a
4,600 sq m (49,513 sq ft) trade park and crèche and providing new and protected employment opportunities for 2,400 people.

Turley Associates’ Role:

  • Advice on planning strategy and submission of planning applications
  • Negotiation of a wide range of B1, B2 and B8 floorspace, supporting uses/ services and ancillary trade park sales
  • Refurbishment of existing buildings
  • Advice on ERDF grant funded environmental / landscape road frontage improvements
  • Formulation of park-wide indicative masterplan and approved development framework
  • Liaison with Local Planning Authority and principal consultees
  • Coordination and preparation of outline and detailed planning applications

Results:

  • Successful negotiation of a 10 year outline planning permission
  • Approved development framework
  • Phased redevelopment of the site
  • Continued delivery of floorspace via a series of on-going reserved matters applications
