The Turley Associates’ Leeds and Manchester design teams successfully worked together on this masterplan and Design and Access Statement for 180 new homes. The proposed development is located on a sensitive greenfield site in Menston, Wharfedale.
The detailed planning application was produced on behalf of both Barratt and David Wilson Homes for a ‘dual-branded’ site.
The Turley Associates team worked closely with the client’s internal design and technical team to ensure the project’s viability and buildability.
Our role was to provide the design rationale, approach, design development and illustration. The process included scoping from initial analysis studies and design concepts through to the production of illustrative streetscenes, re-elevating house types and the production of illustrative perspective sketches.
